FlySafair, operating as Safair Operations, has a vacancy for a Customer Service Agent at OR Tambo Airport. The successful applicant will report to the Manager: Base Airport.
Job Description
- Assist passengers with ticket sales, bookings, and flight changes, including explaining rules, terms, conditions, regulations, and procedures.
- Assist customers during flight disruptions and cancellations.
- Handle and safeguard confidential information.
- Address customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Escalate problematic issues to the Supervisor on duty.
- Provide professional customer service at all times.
Job Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Experience in airport operations and ticket sales.
- Availability to work weekends, public holidays, flexible hours, and shifts as required.
- Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, including proper phone etiquette.
- Conflict resolution skills.
