POSITIONS: TEMPORARY MALARIA SPRAY OPERATORS X 350 POSTS

DAILY STIPEND: R310.00 for a period of 132 Days

DISTRICT: Various districts around Limpopo, including Mopani, Vhembe, Waterberg, Sekhukhune, and Capricorn

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of Grade 12/Matric Certificate or an equivalent certificate at NQF level 4

Knowledge and Skills

  • Basic reading, writing, and calculation skills.
  • Physically fit enough to carry a malaria spray can for inside home spraying and water treatment.
  • Ability to work with chemicals.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Mixing of insecticides.
  • Loading and offloading of goods.
  • Assist the clients with transferring their belongings inside the house and protecting furnishings before spraying.
  • Cleaning is performed at malaria stations (vehicles, cans, buildings, and environs).
  • Complete the spray and hut card (SP 1) while spraying.
  • Data capturing
  • Conduct environmental surveillance & community surveillance
