Purpose of the Position
The primary role of the Cash-in-Transit Driver is to safely transport Crewmen and Custodians to collect and deliver clients’ money, ensuring all collections and deliveries are properly documented and secured.
Minimum Requirements Cash-in-Transit driver
Clear criminal record
PSIRA accredited (minimum Grade C)
Cash-in-Transit (CIT) Certificate
Firearm competency – minimum handgun qualification for business purposes
Valid Code C1 driver’s license and Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the security or related industry (experience within Fidelity Services Group advantageous)
Ability to work under pressure
Must be physically fit
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and responsible transportation of cash and valuables.
- Collect and deliver clients’ money with full accountability.
- Maintain constant communication with control room and supervisors.
- Report all delays or incidents immediately to the Operations Manager.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete all required documentation.
- Implement preventive measures in response to suspicious activities.
- Drive responsibly and report all accidents or security breaches.
